Tugba Baykal is a feminist documentary filmmaker from İstanbul, Turkey. She earned a master's degree in philosophy and worked as a journalist before becoming a filmmaker. Her work focuses on feminism, LGBTI+ rights, migration, history, queer images, and archival footage. Several festivals screened her 2022 documentary No One Would Go, which explores the conversion therapy techniques used in Turkey to "fix" LGBTIQ+ people. In her last film, Super Hero Intersex, she portrays the journey of three intersex individuals from Turkey to become activists.
