Firouz Vafadari is the CEO and Co-founder of Light Links, Inc., Silicon Valley's first Wireless Optical Communication (WOC) company that presents fiber optics without the fiber, over the air. Providing high-bandwidth and low-latency wireless communication solutions to come to play whenever RF solutions fall short. Light Links verticals are industrial roots, AGI wearables, autonomous EVs, and WOC as a service for ISPs.

He was formerly a Ph.D. student and graduate researcher at the Computer Science and Engineering department. His research interest was Computer Networks, focusing on Routing Protocol design for wired and wireless networks under the supervision of distinguished professor J.J. Garcia-Luna-Aceves and professor Katia Obraczka, the CITRIS campus director.

On the side, he loves to play the piano and write poems; this is the recent one:

Empires will collapse, the toughest Diamonds will Shatter, and that Bold Red Rose will be blunted.

Let’s Tear Down this Sorry Scheme of Things, this Fragile, Hollow World, and rebuild it closer to the Heart’s Desire.

-Firouz Vafadari
