Pedro Morales-Almazan is an Associate Teaching Professor of Mathematics at UC Santa Cruz. He earned his PhD in mathematics from Baylor University, where he studied spectral zeta functions and the Casimir effect, and taught at the University of Texas at Austin before joining UCSC in 2018. His teaching centers on inquiry-based learning, project-based assessment, and the use of improvisational theater to build more human connections in mathematics classrooms.
